How to Comment on an Alert

When law enforcement or another organization issues an alert, you will be able to comment on it, so you can provide them with additional information or ask them questions. Your comments will NEVER be publicly posted. The only ones will see your comments are the administrators of the organization that issued the alert. 

1. On the ALERTS tab of the app, you can view all recently posted alerts. To respond to an alert, tap its “Comment” button.

2. On the COMMENT screen, use the toggle switch to choose whether you want to submit your comment with your contact information or anonymously. 

If you choose to remain anonymous, the organization that issued the alert will still be able to follow up with you through the app, but your identity will remain hidden. 

3. Use the field at the bottom to write your comment or question. If you want to include a photo or video, tap the camera icon on the right side of the field. 

4. Tap “SEND” in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
